At my most recent newborn session, little “T”’s parents took a couple of picture of me in action. I thought it would be fun to show them here and the resulting image. Newborn photography is so much fun and I love it, but it definitely takes a lot of patience to pose those little sweet peas just right!

Sweet “B” was one of my favorite little newborn models. He slept so hard our entire session and let me do all kinds of poses. Now he’s 3 months and did just as good of a job at our last session. Gave me some good smiles and then passed out at the end to give me a few sleeping shots. I have to say in the almost 4 years I’ve been photographing babies, I’ve never had a 3 month old fall asleep at a session…we just wore him out!
And just to show how much he’s grown – the left is a newborn picture and the right is from our latest session. Amazing how much they change in those first few months!
~ Jonathan and Jessica – I so enjoyed seeing you and “B” again. I love watching him grow and he is just as precious as ever!
I had a wonderful start to my day today because I got to have a session with this precious little boy first thing this morning. He was such a good sleeper…after a good feeding and a full tummy, he was like putty in my hands. I could have stayed and held him all day!
(I think in this one he’s dreaming of who is going to win the Iron Bowl)

I met up with Courtney and Jeff yesterday afternoon at the Oaks Plantation for a mini-maternity session. You can just sense the excitement these two are feeling about the arrival of their sweet baby girl in April. She’s one lucky girl to have such great parents!

This precious little guy is the third and final child in his family. He has a big sister and big brother who already adore him and who will, I know, take such good care of him as he grows. I had so much fun spending time with all of them yesterday morning.
There’s something about this pose that gets me every time…it’s so sweet!
